The Machiavellianism is one of the dark triad personalities, characterised by a duplicitous interpersonal style, a cynical disregard for morality, and a focus on self-interest and personal gain.
Narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy ‘dark’ implies that people posssessing these traits have malevolent qualities....Narcissism is characterised by grandiosity, pride, egotism and a lack of empathy.
The machiavellians are predisposed to be calculating, conniving and deceptive. Essentially amoral, they use other people as stepping stones to reach their goals.
From the Machiavellian’s perspective, if we allow ourselves to be used, we probably deserve it.
P.T. Barum expressed this mindset ‘there’s a sucker born every minute’.
There is no why with people who are driven. Well not why in terms of things you did. These are not normal thinking people.
Groucho Marx once said ‘sincerity is everything. If you can fake that, you’ve got it made’
He was joking, but to a Mach, this sounds like good advice.
He also, incidentally said he wouldn’t want to be a member of a club that wanted him.
Take care out there, you get them in every walk of life, recognising them is the key, there are many great people in BDSM, the Mach spoil it for a few.
Being with a self absorbed Mach is difficult to figure out......you present yourself as a target...until you don’t.

can be good at reading social situations and others
few of them lol
