The Sun won
Sharing each other's body heat as we cuddle through the night, brings a calmness to the world and makes everything alright
Our bodies wrapped around each other our heartbeats seem to beat as one, I wish it would stay nighttime forever but soon our magic will be broken by the sun
I snuggle in as tight as I can trying to steal each second from the night, i know it's a really futile attempt there's no way i can outrun the light
Soon I feel you stirring it's a breaking of a brand new day, I know now I will have to unwrap myself the sun as won it always does no matter come what may
You open up your blurry eyes i adore that first thing in the morning smile, you lay your head upon my chest and just share a caring little while
Then you climb out of our bed your nightdress gets dropped on the floor, you give me a passing glimpse of your curves knowing I'm forever wanting more
Soon we are dressed and out the door both ready for our day my cars parked to the left your cars on the right, with one more hug and tender kiss we part both by saying "See you later on tonight".
