Samhain wish
Laying in my bed tonight, Goddess hear my desperate plea, when the veil between the worlds grow thin, send them home to me
Let the souls of all I've lost visit for just one night, let me see them once again, to know that they're alright
Let the stay a little while, see my sister, mum and dad, let me look upon their faces, I swear I wont be sad
Perhaps let me hold a hand, feel my mothers kiss, share one more night with them, it truly is my wish
Just one more night to see their faces, to see them laugh and smile, Goddess give them back to me, if only for a while
And when the moon begins to go and the veil must start to close, I will say goodbye again but at least in side I'll know
I'll know they are all ok and with you way on high, I'll be on my own again, no pain but just a sigh
Then I send a blessing up, I guess I'll shed a tear and hope that I'll see them all again, at the turning of the year
