Sharks
They can smell your vulnerable from very far away, they encircle you so lovingly, they know exactly what to say
Offering care and comfort, you're welcomed in with open arms, blinding you with charisma, turning on their charms
Waiting for you to drop your guard, then they move in for the kill, taking what they want from you, until they've had their fill
Feeding off your loneliness, searching for your broken heart, making sure you never heal, whilst they play their part
The part of the caring friend, the one who'd never make "The move". Acting like they are just a friend, with actions cool and smooth
But slowly they are worming their way in, to control you is their goal, to make themselves invaluable, to be part of your soul
So if you end up broken hearted, be careful of the shark, disguised as caring, supportive friend, just waiting in the dark
Waiting in the shadows, for your tears to fall like rain, with kind words and cuddles, they'll climb into your brain
So make sure you keep an eye out, don't let your broken heart rule your brain, make sure that they're genuine or you'll get hurt again
