I know you're really hurting though you're miles away, don't doubt I think of you each and every day
I hate to think I can't be there, to help you has you struggle with your pain, I wish I could take it all away, so you would smile again
Help you with the pressures, the things that ache inside your heart, I want to make you happy, though we're miles apart
I wish that I could hug you, wrap you safe within my arms, protecting you from the struggles that seem to cause you harm
I pray for you each evening, I hope soon you're well again, please let God heal you, I pray for this Amen
Now I have you in my life, you've become a loyal, loving friend, long may it last my love, please don't let it end
