Sand squashes between my toes, the Sea rushes to the shore, we are walking hand in hand, no man could ask for more
The warm breeze on our skin, the Sun high in a cloudless sky, I try to think of a better place, but I can't, no matter how I try
Me you on a golden beach, no-one else is in our view, Two lovers lost in a dreamland, here there's only me and you
I have to keep glancing at you, I'm so proud that you are mine, a endless beach and perfect weather, this truly is devine
You catch me looking, you stop, pull me in close and smile, we share a tender moment, we're kissing for a while
Your skin is warm and Sun kissed, your hair blowing in the breeze, we can hear the birds of paradise, singing in the trees
Then I see your look change, there is no smile, it's that time again once more, you kiss me that special kiss, the one I've had before
The kiss that say good bye my love, until again we find the sand, I feel you slowly disappear, melted from my hand
Gone again I awake in bed, where the night goes only heaven's knows, I'm alone a broken poet, no more sand between my toes
