Another cuddle
Come on baby snuggle in, there's no truth in Halloween, it's just to frighten little ones, to give them scary dreams
Just climb into my safe arms, I will hold you through the night, I will keep you safe from harm, I'll make sure you sleep tonight
Place your head on my chest, I'll stroke your soft long hair, you will know I'm with you, you will always feel me there
Gentle kisses on your head, brings a smile across your face, you seem a little calmer, I can tell by your heartbeats pace
I'll fight off any monsters, we've even checked beneath our bed, there's no boogeyman in the wardrobe, it's all inside your head
I don't know why you watch horror films, if they frighten you so much, but watching them on Halloween, that's a kind of stupid touch
I look down at you dozing off, on your pretty neck I see a vein, makes me wish Halloween was true and I was a Vampire once again
At your age you should not be scared, I suppose the films and the night have you in muddle, or maybe it's just a made up excuse to sneak another cuddle
