Smiling

Thinking of my dream girl, puts a huge smile on my face, my mind starts to wander and my heartbeat starts to race

Just a single thought of her, makes me feel all warm inside, I don't know the words to explain how I feel, but she knows how hard I've tried

So many different poems, with passion written down in rhyme, telling how happy I am when in my dreams she's mine

When I send a poem out into the void, I pray my dream girl reads it, I hope it makes her smile back, if only for a bit

The thought of my dream girl smiling, whilst I'm smiling here, is like we are closer, it kind of brings her near

So when she reads this poem, wherever she is beneath this Sun, I hope that like me she's smiling, then my work with this Is done
