Hug
Words sent from the heart can soothe a savage soul, to send a small amount of kindness, ìs my only goal
A line full of tenderness, understanding and full of care, is like a hug across the void, when I'm not really there
To bring a little sunshine to a heart that only sees the rain, to be the umbrella until the sunshine warms your soul again
That helping hand to pull you up, when your spread out on the floor, to offer you words of encouragement, it's what this poems for
To bring a Ray of hope, when all around you seems so dark, to give you the strength to carry on, to be your fires spark
A blanket around you when you are cold, my stanzas are a hug, designed to fit you perfectly, to keep you warm and snug
So keep this poem close at hand, it's written from my heart to make you smile, it may not cure your worldly woes but it might help you for a while
So even if the break is small, if your heart feels lighter for just a little time, my poems hasn't been wasted, it's a hug wrapped in a rhyme
