Paying it forward
When I write my softer stanzas you are often in my mind, I try to thank you for your support and for being very kind
For giving me the nudge I need to show the world just who I am, you have somehow empowered me, in a way no other can
You've given me the strength to roll up, to take on whatever comes my way, to deal with ny disability and to feel more positive by the day
I feel.now I have a inner strength the likes I've never known before, it's not just a fleeting thing, I feel it in my core
I'm finding about the real me, the man I've become today, things like though I may be paralyzed, good thing still will come my way
I find myself smiling more, I'm not bothered by the dark, my desire for lifes returning and you have been the spark
So let me say a huge thanks, for all I'm feeling is so true, I will make it my life's goal, to do the same for you
