My heart is like a flower blossoming in your morning Sun, I feel I'm accepting who I am and my life has just begun
Many years I've hid myself away, lived my life in somewhere dark, now I'm standing out of lifes shadows and you have been the spark
I want to show the world who I am, I want to be the man I'm meant to be, finally I feel unshackled, the real me is now set free
Things are changing with me, I think it's down to you, you've given me some self belief, you've been honest kind and true
I thought being broken my life was over I was all but done, somehow you showed me there's more to life, you're like a golden ray of sun
Your friendship has given me new life, being paralyzed isn't nowhere near the end, I've still got so much more to give, thank you my special friend
You've given me the strength I need to grow, to let my heart just open wide, there will always be a place for you, feel free to come inside
