Ice Girl's public thoughts.

Me just sharing what comes to mind.

Since I lost weight and started to get fit going to the gym has gone from therapy to annoying.

I swear to god why do guys see me mid work out and think I know what this female working her ass off needs an awkward insecure bastard who thinks he's hot shit interacting with her. Then getting butt hurt when she doesn't give a damn.

Men either trying to impress me by failing hard, glare at me like a creeper, or worst of all attempt to talk to me. Sometimes when they talk to me they do the same work out as me on the machine next to me. Like seriously it's a planet fitness this place is empty if I wanted to talk to you I'd approach you.

Although sometimes it is amusing 4-6 days a week I start by using the row machine for 40 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes straight. One of my favorites is watching them crack after 5 minutes trying to talk to me.

It ain't easy rowings a full body workout and after 6 months of training have a pretty insane clip. They must think its easy since they see me do it nearly effortlessly shocker its not.

Rowing is freaking brutal that's why I do it almost everyday. Rowing burns and tones my entire body while being low impact and having no potential for injury since I use the proper technique.

What's kinda sad is for all the men who hit on me unwelcomed making me uncomfortable where's an interesting female? Just for once change it up for someone I might actually be interesting in meeting.

Moonlighter(dom male) - I think in any public space you'll find people like this, in fact when I was in the gym last night I witnessed something similar (Although it didn't happen to me so I was observing from the outside as it were)

There's a dude who powerlifts at my gym, haven't spoken to him but hes about 5'10" with a beard and built like a brick shithouse. Also interesting to note is he huffs so much smelling salts that he will literally walk around the gym barking and then pick the weight up, although to be fair its a fecking heavy weight.

So anyways Beardo McBarky was doing his deadlifts last night and I noticed halfway through my set of Russian twists that every woman in tight gym shorts and tops had materialized around him on various machines all giving him their best thirsty looks ... which given he was lifting more than twice my bodyweight he entirely ignored :D.

Fact is that if people look at you and think your attractive they will attempt to get your attention, best bet is just turn the headphones up put your head down and plough on through your workouts :)

Good luck and keep up the good work
You do you and let the rest sort themselves out.

ALSO on another note I'm in the UK and we don't really have planet fitness over here but I've heard of it through reputation and its not a good reputation either, would changing to a more focused gym help?

IceGirl(switch female) - The hate for planet fitness is kinda overrated it has all the equipment I need pretty much anywhere in the country for 24.99 a month. I don't know about these women loving your bath salts doing psycho lifter generally most women I know aren't into to muscle heads yet again maybe its the gym you go to or what it is you think your seeing. Most guys who juice and from you tell me that guy seemed like hes on the sauce have no testicles and there dicks shrink not to mention they often lose the ability to get an erection and become amazingly violent. Here is a very famous case https://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/chris-benoits-dad-son-suffered-severe-brain-damage/story?id=11471875

By the way trust me women don't need to circle men the majority get plenty of attention.

Moonlighter(dom male) - Oh I'm not saying these women NEED to circle him, I'm just saying that they do. It's probably because they find him (or the fact he's lifting so much) to be either interesting or attractive.

The main point I was reaching for was that women and men both do the pestering thing in the gym, even if men have more of a rep for being forward about it. Not that it excuses the behavior. But yeah as long as the gym has what you need for a good workout is it ever a problem which one you're in. :)

VALKING(dom male){Conquering} - That is crazy that there are men that are moving that way. I think that it is pointless for men to behave that way. It seems outdated to me. This is not a time when women are just learning what is around the gym or visiting the gym just for sporting outfits. A lot of women hit the gym and get money for real. They have routines and rigorous regiments that could put many men on our asses. I hope you keep strong and keep doing what you enjoy.
