Going back to school to change careers at almost the age of 50 was one of the hardest and scariest things I’ve ever done! But no matter how hard it got, I never stopped progressing forward. My resilience wouldn’t let me stop until my goal was accomplished.
Today is that day!  

I was chatting with a girlfriend, as we gals tend to do, and the subject of the male penis comes up (seriously not meant to be a play on words but if the shoe fits). Any hoo, she says how “we know how unattractive they are”. I just stare at her for a second and all I could do was smile and then laugh.

She is not the first, and probably won't be the last woman who says that the penis is ugly to look at. All I can think of when I hear this is how???? I think they're beautiful. Ok, some more beautiful then others, true, but they're all pretty damn amazing.

Whether they're straight

Or curved

Leaning

Or gleaming

Hooded

Or having that beautiful ridge hang out

Dripping

Or bursting 

All Cocks Are Beautiful! 

Oh and lets not forget their fearless side kicks....like I always say, it's a package deal!

How can other women not love looking at a man's meat?

And all I can think of is-

Let me just say I'm not a DIY person. The most I've probably done is paint and remove wall paper. So larger projects haven't been my thang.

Fast forward to about a month ago.....enter the kitchen with the ugly green countertops/walls 🤮.

Apologies to the green fans, I am not a green fan 😂. I couldn't live happily with these ugly green countertops/walls, but the cabinets don't look bad, right????

Yeah, that's what I thought until I got up close. Then you see all of the old scratched, worn, broken wood 🤦‍♀️. Oi vey! 

I just knew I couldn't be happy in this kitchen. So what's a girl to do? Change it!

The internet could be a wonderful thing (most of the time 🙄) - so after much research I found two kits. One for painting kitchen cabinets and one for painting countertops to look like granite. The kit for the countertops has the minerals mixed right into the main coat of paint. How cool is that?!

So after much work, and help from family, I present to you my labor of love...

Oh and some pretty new contact paper for all of the cabinets and shelves.

Now this makes me happy when I walk in! And that makes all of the hard work soooo worth it!

Also on a side note, now I want to paint a whole bunch of other stuff! Tables, chairs, furniture...think I found myself a new hobby 😁.

Sooooo there I was driving along a pretty busy double yellow lined road on the way home from work when I see a “chipmunk” look like it’s trying to cross the road in front of me, then I saw grey, and ears….hey wait a minute, chipmunks aren’t grey with pointy grey ears, is that a kitten? Yup!

Here he is, the new male love in my life- Smokey!
