It has been a rough couple of months with out her.

So as some of you know through conversation. While it was Deer season up here and I was having no luck in my stand. I was driving home one evening from the office and in the middle of BFE between a Field on one side, brush on the other, when out of the brush comes this Big Ass Doe that decided it wanted to take on my truck at 65MPH. The truck took damage but it won that one.

This was when I was getting ready to get a Re-enforced front end. Go Figure....
So after getting it to the Body Shop and ordering the exact bumper I wanted, which took 3 weeks due to the holiday's and they are all custom built, I finally today, got my truck back.

These are the things that make up BDSM. Lets put away all of the various kinks and fetishes for a moment. Those 6 words are what make up this lifestyle. I know there will be those that disagree, and yes I know that there is a lot of things that fall under the umbrella. But lets talk about B.D.S.M. versus being kinky. Being in lifestyle (BDSM) is much more than kinky sex. Yes, that can be part of it and more often is than not, but being kinky in the bedroom does not mean you are in the lifestyle. It just means you are kinky in bed. Lifestyle brings the elements of the 6 words together. The primary thing is it involves Power Exchange to happen. This means that 1 person, the Dominant, has been given power over the submissive (With Consent) to some degree. That degree is discussed and consented to by both parties. Whether that is a partial PE with just some things, or a Total PE where the Dominant has been given full control.
Kink on the other hand may have aspects of BDSM and visa versa, but it is not BDSM due to the fact of the PE, or lack there of. You can have the kinks of bondage, spankings, and all the other fun play with your partner(s). But unless there is a Power Exchange, they are just kinks. Even if you have one partner that is the "dominant one" in bed, that is still just kinky sex. (Again, you may disagree and that is okay)
BDSM goes outside of just the bedroom. It is a lifestyle that we choose. This is why it is called "Lifestyle". Our lives are intertwined by the structure of BDSM. It is the structure of the dynamic that makes it what it is. The trust from the submissive to hand over certain aspects of their being. The honor of the Dominant is to do what is right and in the best interests of their submissive in those things. Just that alone gives you the difference of BDSM vs Kink.
It is perfectly fine to be kinky. We all are!! But there is a difference in saying that you are kinky and saying you are in lifestyle. Please know the difference. Understand what it is that you are identifying as. Just because you are kinky does not mean you are lifestyle.
(And that is okay because we will still like you. ?)
I have been going through and seeing what others have been writing about as far as the transition from 2024 to 2025. I admire those that have shared their experiences for the prior year and those that have made resolutions for the new.
The last year for us has definitely had it's ups and downs for us. That is in the past though and it is time to start looking towards the future. I am not going to make any resolutions, just going to refocus on the things that matter.
We have our homestead that is a work in progress. With my school being done, this will give me the time to be able to finish projects that need attention. This includes a new habitat for our meat rabbits, reworking the duck and chickens housing, and finishing off the goats home. We will be getting our gardens in this year as we start to ramp up on self-sufficiency.
Where lifestyle is concerned, Hekate and I are revamping our dynamic and will continue to explore new things. She has started a list of the things that she wants to try and we are lining up time with those who know the ins and outs. After all, you can watch a video or 2 but that doesn't mean you know how to do a particular activity safely. It is always better to learn with someone knowledgeable who can properly guide you and answer your questions.
We have also made great headway with House Yggdrasil and are getting to start rebuilding the tattered community up here in the Northland with the help of a brother and sister as co-leaders of the House. We have made great contacts with other Leaders in the State, as well as in other parts of the Country, and they have all agreed to help us in anyway possible. This means that we will be bringing educational opportunities to the area by those with years of expertise in various kinks. This is an exciting time up here. At the same time we, the leaders of the House, will be starting our journeys as educators and are looking forward to serving the community as a whole.
As far as anything else, we will live for the day and see what the Universe has in store for us. You never know what may happen.

Merry Yule from Eros, Hekate, and House Yggdrasil ❤️?❤️?
Some may know and some may not.
My belief system when it comes to this time of year, most would call pagan.
I am of Norse-Celtic decent, as is Hekate.
For this reason we celebrate the times before the H.R.E. turned Yule into the "Christmas celebration". Taking many of the Yule traditions and Festivities and incorporating them into "Christmas Traditions". The song "The 12 Days of Christmas" are actually the 12 days of Yule.
We do not celebrate what Coca-Cola other corporations have made this holiday to be.
If you celebrate Christmas, than so be it and there is no harm in that.
We just choose, with others, to celebrate Yule (The Winter Solstice) in the ways of our Ancestors.
So which ever way you choose to celebrate, my your season be filled with joy.
Hekate and I are back from Naughty Revival 2024 and it was spectacular!!
First off, we went with a brother and sister of ours who are also leaders of House Yggdrasil with Hekate and myself. The time we had together was incredible. Next year we are doing the big suite.
It was great to see our old friends and make some new ones and some great connections to help build our community in the area. This included some offering to come up and help with education on various subjects for people who want to learn things like fire play, whips, floggers, protocol, and some more of the edge play.
Hekate and I attended a class on interrogation play and we will be looking to explore that.
Also, I was asked to participate in a Waterboarding scene that was extremely intense. My shoulders and arms still are sore from this as myself and another Dominant friend of ours were asked to hold down the arms and legs of the bottom. Watching it I am sure that it was pretty wowing, but participating in it was mind blowing.
And before you ask, my Dominant friend was one of the DM’s on site, plus there was medical and another DM on standby to make sure nothing went sideways with the scene.
Unfortunately this did interrupt Hekate and I preparing to do our scene which threw us off and pulled us both out of our headspace. We still managed to do our scene to the delight of our friends that wanted to watch.
The vendors were amazing and we did pickup some new tools. New flogger, claws, and suspension cuffs. They were all very helpful to direct us to what it was we were looking for.
i could ramble on about this for a while, so I will just say this. If you have never been to a large event such as a takeover, you are missing out. Going with people for their first time…. it was fun watching them have their minds blown. Naughty Revival is what the BDSM community is about.
