It is that time of year where the frozen tundra we call home has started to thaw.
After being ill the last few days with whatever is making its rounds, it is time to start doing the prep work for the summer season. It is going to be a busy one.
We have 15 chicks in the in-house brooder that are getting ready to go to the brooder in the coop. We have 30 Guinea Fowl coming in the next couple of weeks. I have 2 Sand-point wells to drive in the ground for the goats and rabbits. Then it is time to get ready for bees in May.
There is always much to do and only so many hours in the day. At least the sun is up until after 7PM now. That beats 4:30PM. 🙄
If anyone feels the urge to want to see what homesteading is like and come help, let me know 🤣🤣🤣
