The year was 1775. The date was November 10th.
In a place called Tun Tavern, in the city of Philadelphia PA. one of the greatest, if not the greatest, fighting forces was born.

This day is like no other day for those that are known as Marines. This is a day of celebration.
Tonight will be a night of festivities as Marines around the World will sit, eat, and toast all who came before and those that are still here and to those yet to be born in blood, sweat, and pain.
