Sharing My thoughts and opinions

A collection of experiences and thoughts throughout the years as a Master

I have used Roger Waters - The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking the entire score

Does music or sounds directly effect subspace or is it the sound of silence (not the song) that has a profound effect during and after?

I have experienced this on several occasions, the connection between the music and the session, depending on which discipline or facet is chosen at the time. Slow, hard pumping, raw beats of music can effect, in My opinion, the mindset before a submissive enters into subspace. Maintaining a calm and soothing environment verses screaming voices and heavy busy music even has a direct effect on the outcoming of subspace. This is usually where ! turn off all sounds and use the sound of My voice as assurance and security. Taking time and patience to bring the submissive back slowly and calmly.

SirsBabyDoll(sub female){Pizza+☕}Verified member - You're welcome. I don't even want to be spoken to, as it's distracting to my float. Just hold me, rub my back, feed me succulent fruits and let me float.

Morley(sub female){Max Sterne} - For me, it doesn't matter what the environment is (noisy, calm, smashing, etc.). It's that certain threshold, point, THE ACT that brings me there. And then absolutely nothing matters around me... It's a Zone where I am not present in current surrounding environment, I am in my "space" my Bliss. 😌

I do agree ever so much, with how you state when the Sub hits there. It's soooo important to stay connected. The "act" that brought me there if increased, while there, I may not be able to use my Safeword, because I am in Euphoria. You as the D need to know the signs and care for her. Just as you noted, to bring her back safely and gently. No sub likes to be "ripped" out of that place.

AdamDragon(dom male)Verified member - Agreed! Total caution and attentiveness are very important on the return. And yes I can not stress the amount of responsibility that is on a Dominant when handling a submissive in the place of euphoria. Knowing the connection and having the knowledge of the threshold to hold you there safely. and yes knowing the safeword may not be able to be used. attentiveness and safety....

Bunnie - The music played tells me a lot about what headspace the Dom/Top is in, and also wanting to achieve during play. I’ve known Masters who use their music choice as part of the scene to impact their slave further (think sadism lol). To me, how a scene is chosen and set out, tells a story... it’s a journey. I don’t have preferences, because what really satisfies me, is being taken on that journey... told that story. And well, once I’m in subspace, I don’t hear it anyway lol. The people I have known a very careful about how they craft every aspect of their scene, so I trust that music has been a carful contemplation in that as well. It’s pretty cool :D

Little moon(sub female){Not lookin}Verified member - I've never been in subspace so I wouldn't be able to safely say-but I do know plants and seedlings respond and grow to different music in different ways so makes sense that it would affect subspace as well☺️
