I am quite certain many already know this but I would like to address topic. The outcome.
Setting the submissive and the Dominate up for failure. After knowing a sub's weaknesses and strengths some attributes are forever embedded. It's not their fault.
We can not change everything. After talking about the action. Punishing the action. Being constructive and showing the sub how to speak or physically do the action and they still fail what to do? If we know the action will fail and still allow it then the Dom is to blame. The Dominat set the submissive up for failure.
Yes I take responsibility. I don't remember the AA first step but this in my rule book.
We have options. Step away from the dynamic for failure to adhere to protocols, rituals and the like. Or we can accept a submissive for their strengths and fortify those traits. Work on those short comings that can be addressed. Acknowledging a fault doesn't take it away. Learning to adapt to that fault is a strength. Having things in place to over shadow faults and keep them at bay is a strength.
I have been saying this over and over. I will not punish for failure that could have been avoided due to my inaction.
Yes I am quite certain someone else can tame that fault. Yes you are the best. All hail you...
