That wikipedia was a valid scientific source of evidence..... would have help a lot during uni. *sarcasm*

Be good to know the method of research model used by wikipedia. Ah yes.... 90s kids messing up entries for fun to see if anyone noticed.

*smacks head repeatedly against desk.... its like watching science melt. Who references wiki? Like really? Talk about masochistic tendencies... i can see the memes now

WhatamIfightingfor(dom male) - I have found real sources, NIHM, per reviewed papers, government documents as sighted sources in Wikipedia. There is pages like Laura Inglis Wilder where it is a composite of her and her daughter.

rosethorn(sub female) - If you can't find methodology (how the info is obtained) you can't be critical of it to ensure its accurate.
Hmmmm is wiki quantitative quantitative or mixed method? Its none because its not science its people typing assumptions as facts and even if it is accurate how long until someone goes hmmm.... you know what would be fun? Messing up wikipedia entries (it used to be a game in school to see if the teachers noticed) they didn't. Anything not peer reviewed on the internet is written by anyone who can self claim as an 'expert'.
Interestingly a group submitted made up evidence research to a peer review process recently to see if they would spot it. It passed, they then published a paper disproving it with a clause stating that the original was to see if others would spot it done badly.

rosethorn(sub female) - So i can't use wiki as evidence in my assignments but its no problem for a government adviser. I really wish who ever it is luck with the memes.
