Many moons, many thoughts

There is a side to life that seems to hide

It’s a side you feel, not a side you see

but when we peel back the seams of reality

we find different forces, untapped sources

more resources, than we’ll ever need

Now these forces can be found in trees

I’ve felt them myself, they’ve whispered to me

but to gain entry we must give something back

give up our time; make our own pact

So lady Elder, mother of the wood, journey taker

dark heart of the earth and poetry maker

I give you part of my soul and part of my mind

you’re guiding my pen, i’m dressing your shrine

I swear to be kind, please share the divine
