balloonkotinsp - I don't judge any relationship on the ages of those involved. People are all so different in every way. So when you find someone who is right for you, why place a boundary on it. Just my opinion. And side note, welcome aboard. I'm fairly new here myself, but my experiences here have been good.

CSI - I think age differences would come into play when you are trying to build a life with someone, but not necessarily with a dynamic. I have swung 20 years either way with play partners, but didn't have much in common with those on the extreme ends other than some basic kinks. Not saying it can't ever work, but it is unlikely to.

Also, blogging is awesome. People can read more about your thoughts and see if they can get a better read on you. Well done.

I’m a fan of age gaps, however, considering that up until my current situation, every relationship I had ever had was an age gap relationship, I am rather bias lol. I love the diversity it brings having those involved coming from such different places. I find it super enriching. In all honesty it is something I am struggling with in my current circumstance, because I never realised just how much I have become more adapted to that type of relationship. Things like emotional maturity, ability for in-depth discussion and connection, level of and willingness towards introspection, just an overall different mindset and place in life, are things I value a lot in older men. It’s kind of frustrating to know that a younger man will get there eventually… but that he has to go through all the trials and tribulations of becoming the man he’ll be before that happens. I’m impatient lol.
