Wedding Ring or a Collar
I have give both In my time but what do we get out of them what’s true difference Between them

If we look at what goes with them yes there both Meaningful and come with love and Respect but how Different are there on what you get out of them

For me let’s look at the wedding ring first

What does just it stand for when I put that on a women’s finger it does not mean I own her or does it mean to tell her what to do
It means I see her as my Equal

She will support me as I support her but how does it look like been married in each other eyes i ask you ??

As I have a given a lot been married in my own mind heart and soul but what was lacking in it I ask my self

A Vanilla relationship was the Depth of knowing and understanding of what was missing as I did not need to know every thing what was going on inside my wife’s head each day and I would wait for her ti come ti me with her problems

To submit to a Dom and let him in on that much deeper and personal level, especially in tpe relationship takes so much more trust on my part as a sub and much more commitment. To me being collared is the ultimate form of love and trust that you can have on a relationship and I can't wait until I am collared.

For me I will only wear someone's collar after he puts a ring on me. But I don't accept a wedding ring if it's not going to come with a collar.

And yes when you look at weddings many fail and many spend alot of money on them.

But then again there are way too many velcro collars also . Ppl jumping into this either way without taking the time to truely know themselves or the one they are choosing.

But I want to add something to the thoughts . Must a collar be physical? NO it doesnt need to be.

Look at it this way I have no wedding band nor do I have a physical item ( a necklace, checker, bracelet , or anything else) to show that I am collared.

Yet I am collared by a bond spirit and my heart is held within Wolfs hands. Which I trust him to care for and keep safe. Just as I hold his heart and will do all that I can to care for it.

Grey Eyes(sub female){Owned} - My opinion is that a marriage in the vanilla world is not so much a status as it is intended to be the tie that binds. And in truth in the vanilla world it does have potential financial implications if he should predecease her (some pensions, etc) or divorce.

We all know the lifestyle is a secret kept from the vanilla world by most. I choose to live in the lifestyle but have to have a foothold in the vanilla world. Therefore my choice would be a bonding ceremony. If he wanted a marriage as well that would be up to him because I don't "need" that, and I would want that as just a different layer and that a bond would come first. But I would want an eventual bond which I consider far deeper than a collar no matter if it is visible or invisible. My thought is that a bond is the evolution of a deep dynamic.

And yes, I see both marriages and collaring thrown to the side far too easily in this disposable society we live in. We just don't have to choose that disposable path, do we.
