Finding a partner - the right mix of D/s v vanilla

Following a discussion with a good friend about how to meet the right partner for a committed relationship either in the world of vanilla or D/s, we settled on the following ingredients for potential success:

1. Falling in love with your Dom/sub 24/7 – Perfection.

2. A loving vanilla relationship with a mutual passion for D/s play in the bedroom – Satisfaction.

3. A D/s relationship without love – Unfulfilling.

4. A loving vanilla relationship without D/s – Doomed

Little moon(sub female){Not lookin} - Seems accurate although a bit morbid as well, surely there are more possibilities as well? What about a vanilla beginning and a gradual unfurling into dynamic or lifestyle as things grow and melt together? I like to think as time passes things begin to encompass the wants and needs mutually of both sides in the best ways possible, like a stream feeding into a river and always finding its way home to the ocean.

Shaded(dom male) - I totally agree. Perhaps that’s 2a on the list. It is a lovely idea. It is a similar scenario to why the discussion referred to began, but there was no fairytale ending to that relationship.

Little moon(sub female){Not lookin} - Sadly it is very rare to find fairytales or if you do they’re just a part of a story they don’t stay happy endings , because life just happens and gets on the way🙈 but I know what you mean and it is a good topic to be sure 🐾
