MountaintopMaster - I must say, your recent post about gentlemen and being raised right etc really resonated with me. And now I am reading this, and I am a touch saddened because I am wondering exactly this: how is "deep depth" kept alive? When other factors are involved, such as borderline personality disorder and/or dissociative identity disorder, and maybe just plain ol ADHD or a bit of autism, ..."depth" in a dynamic can seem to want to distort itself over time. I suppose the first answer is, the leadership of the dominant must be unwavering and the openness/honesty of the submissive must also match... For now, sustainable depth eludes me...
