Grief

Grief is a stranger.
It will never be a friend.
It does not care what you want to do today, tomorrow or any other day.
It will wreak any plans that you make.
It will be a constant reminder of why you shouldn’t be happy or even content.
It will push even your best friend away.
It will make you dodge phone calls from your family.
It will ruin a day that has been full of adventure and good times.
The only good thing about grief is at one point you have the power to control it.
You have the power to say “Not Today”
You have the power to take unpleasant memories and say I do not live there anymore.
When you reach that point Grief has no control.

10. Psycho. There are more than monsters to be afraid of.

 9. It’s A Wonderful Life. Every time a bell rings……..

 8. 12 Angry Men. A microcosm of what men used to be.

 7. ET The Extra Terrestrial. Space was not full of Martians that wanted to kill us.

 6. Gone With The Wind.   A classic.

 5. Blazing Saddles. I guarantee there will be no remake of this movie.

 4. The Shawshank Redemption. Every man can relate.

 3. Somewhere In Time. If you have not seen this movie, you are welcome.

 2.The Godfather. It’s just good.

 1. Forrest Gump.  A comedy wrapped around the greatest love story ever told.

SageFlame(sub female) - Somewhere in Time - where triumph and heartache ascend with sharp Shakespearian truth. I can still see Christopher Reeves face when he pulls out the penny from his pocket.

ThomasVa - The best scene in the film. Quickly followed by the worst. I can still feel his heartache.
