The Culture that has been here all the time

When I studied to acquire my Master's status I discovered the M/S relationship existed probably for all the history of humans. Religion and Western Culture distort this greatly. Using codes and euphemisms even denial masks it presents the fact many people thrive within this often unrecognized subculture. For example, my wife had all the earmarks of a pleasure slave and was generally devoted and submissive to me. In times of marriage friction, I often heard the words from a counselor, "She just wants you to love her" "Love her" I thought I was and did now I know without a doubt I need to be a master, not some preconceived idea we are to live as equals.

Hello Friends,

Often, Science Fiction literature and films focus on violence and conquest. If ExtraTerrestrial Intelligent life forms came to study Earth and the humans that are the dominant intelligent beings here, they would find war and conflicts very common.

The harshest blows of conflict in 2024 will likely fall on the world’s countries that are already the worst hit by violence. In 2023, 97% of all political violence occurred in 50 countries, as ranked by the ACLED2 Conflict Index. 1

Where is all the evidence that humanity is on a civilized, peaceful track? Wherever and however, humans learn lessons to strive to eliminate war and conflict, progress is slow, at best. In my 3/4 of a century of life, violence waxes, and wanes, but it is never eliminated. Will we ever truly become an entirely peaceful planet?

I don't know but I have my doubts

2 https://acleddata.com/about-acled/ The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) is a disaggregated data collection, analysis, and crisis mapping project. ACLED collects information on the dates, actors, locations, fatalities, and types of all reported political violence and protest events around the world. The ACLED team conducts analysis to describe, explore, and test conflict scenarios, and makes both data and analysis open for free use by the public.

SageFlame(sub female) - I don't believe peace is the goal. If we had world peace, what would we learn and how would we grow? E.T. would think we just need to focus on planting more plants and keeping them alive. How would this focus change the way we live and interact?

Andron Dom - Thanks. I have met and have known many people (including relatives and Holocaust Survivors, and ex-WWII Natzis) who prefer a peaceful existence. Yet, it seems just about anyone can resort to violence under the right circumstances. This has perplexed me my entire life. I have worked for "the good" and have been a highly trained soldier. I have been through several schools on various subjects (AA Physics). I am no closer to the answers I seek than I was as a teenager, awakened by the world's sadness in me (Weltzemertz).
