The Culture that has been here all the time

When I studied to acquire my Master's status I discovered the M/S relationship existed probably for all the history of humans. Religion and Western Culture distort this greatly. Using codes and euphemisms even denial masks it presents the fact many people thrive within this often unrecognized subculture. For example, my wife had all the earmarks of a pleasure slave and was generally devoted and submissive to me. In times of marriage friction, I often heard the words from a counselor, "She just wants you to love her" "Love her" I thought I was and did now I know without a doubt I need to be a master, not some preconceived idea we are to live as equals.

Dreaming about being free enough to sit in a restaurant and have someone serve me and someone else wash the dishes. It hasn't happened for years. The thought brought up my memories of working sound and lights for Richie Havens ant the Cafe Wha several times in the 1960s.

Cello Trance{for You}Verified Account - Holy fuck, you did not work Sound at the café Wha? You are just too fucking cool man. I was playing cello with a singer songwriter that opened for him at the Birchmere in Virginia near Washington DC.

Cello Trance{for You}Verified Account - Did you ever see Dylan or Hendrix?

AndronVerified Account - Dylan many times when he went through a heavy drinking period at the Kettle of Fish. I was the Cabaret barker at the what when he would wait for his limo leaning against a wall across from me on Macdougal. I knew and met many people (Joe, the drummer from the Lovin Spoonful, and I took breaks together, Nielson was a friend . . .)) who became future successes. The famous friend convinced me to go back to school, but I became 1A anyway and enlisted after a friend got killed in THE NAM. That was my life on another planet similar to Earth in a Galaxy Far Far away.

Cello Trance{for You}Verified Account - Oh man. Thank you for sharing all that. You have no idea what a major influence The music of the 60s was to this young cello player. Jimi Hendrix is one of the biggest musical influences in my life. I play a lot of his stuff on Cello.

AndronVerified Account - In the cobwebs of time, a great guitar player who was one of the side men in an act that was there was probably him (or a session man) but more than fifty years of life obscures some things. I wound up with a tube amp from Columbia Recording Studio and a lead guitar loaned to one of my friends from the same place, but he left it in my crash pad, and I used it for many years. A long neck 1 pickup Epiphone perfect for leads. I was holding it in the photo of me performing at the Cafe Wha with my band Jim Wets and the Reasons Why. When we broke up 250 screaming tinny boppers took all the photos except a couple (that was one).
