Yes open relationships exist.. BUT they are clearly defined by ALL involved.. Lines and boundaries that are clearly defined and negotiated by all involved. YES there are those few exceptions to this rule, just as with any other such rule.. (do what you want, so will -I- mentality..) MY question remains.. If zero boundaries are provided by either side, WHERE is the actual emotion the relationship is MEANT to be founded on..?
I am not talking about possessiveness, nor jealousy, I am speaking about basic human respect.. If someone does not care enough to set basic boundaries, WHERE is any type of devotion in the relationship..? ALL relationships have boundaries.. I, to My chagrin, learned this by trusting someone I should NOT have.. I do not regret this action, I learned My lesson. I sold My business for $287,000 in Minneapolis only to, 6 months later, find them driving a brand new car, AND find them living in a house that MY money paid for, but only in THEIR name..
This experience did not jade Me.. I continue to trust those in My life, BUT total trust, I have determined, is EARNED and proven over time.. As are Trust, Respect and Loyalty.. I expect no less provenance in return, and prove these principles on a daily basis..
