Wow, I really made only one post last year and completely dipped! Whoops! Well, at least I have some updates~
1. I graduated! I finished my senior year of college pretty nicely, all things considered! I graduated in May of 2025 with my Bachelors in English! I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but I actually ended up declaring another minor with my Women and Gender Studies minor, and I declared a Literature minor. Hilariously, I didn't have to take any additional classes for it since I had already taken all the required courses. I ended in full with a 3.39 GPA.
2. I got a job! Honestly, at times I'm still amazed I managed to land the role I did LOL. I started back in August of 2025, so pretty quickly after graduating, AND I ended up getting promoted in November, right around Thanksgiving! It's so funny, I still feel so young, but I have moments where I feel SO OLD. Such is life, I suppose.
3. I got back into a hobby of mine! Way before I made this account, baby ChxrryBxrry bought a record player and two vinyls after I graduated high school, and for a period of time I collected vinyls. When I was in college I shelved that hobby for a good while, focusing on other hobbies and university. Last year (still odd to say and type, lol) one of my friends got me into K-Pop and while I've been collecting K-Pop albums (TWICE is my favorite group), I've also gotten back into collecting vinyls! I have about 12 records in my collection so far, which isn't a lot, but it makes me really happy. If I had to say which record is my favorite, I'd say either Laufey's "A Matter In Time" or Sabrina Carpenter's "Man's Best Friend." Currently, I'm trying to find some of Nicole Dollanganger's albums on vinyl, since I really like her music as well and the design of her records seem really cool!
I'm not sure what 2026 is going to bring for me, but it is the year of the Horse, and I was born the year of the horse, so I'm a little optimistic. Also, I used to format my blog posts with updates that included a fun-fact and a poem I've written, but I think I'm gonna change that a bit so that I post more on here. I used to be so much more active on here, and I'd like to get back into that.
I will end this blog post with a fun fact, however! The film Sinners (2025, I was so annoying when this movie came out, I am still annoying about this movie, IT'S SO GOOD!) features a variety of musicians, including the Blues musician, Buddy Guy! There's other musicians featured in this movie as well, such as Miles Canton, who played the leading role of Preacher Boy Sammie! (...I should get Sinners on vinyl)
