Fair's Poetry

Lets be honest, there is some darkness here, it took writing it to heal, and I'm getting back to me. Happy.

I say to you my almost forever,

Wherever you roam and whenever,

That grace finds you in even step,

Gleeful kind, and your heart is kept,

I pray that rainy days filled with joys,

And evil machinations fail thier ploys,

I hope for thee with the most earnest,

That in this life you run the furthest,

That dreams of gold overflow your life,

And heavenly host protect thy knife,

I pray that you find utmost happiness,

And in my words you find no sadness,

I pray for times where you look back old,

And again our story unfolds,

To remember fondly of our days,

Even though we are parting ways,

And pray we meet again in another life,

With love, hope, and all my light.

It is a hard feeling to realize they took time for granted,

A compilation of ignored texts like flowers unplanted,

The issue is you saw them as the world,

Because of this your heart unfurled,

And that flag waved loudly and proudly,

They were your person devoutly,

Sadly they don't have to give back the love we do,

They don't have to go for you and pursue,

Actions are what you watch honey,

Not words and copious money,

It is not dates, or loving gifts,

Its bread into the what if's,

Its what they do when times are hard,

Actions over words not a stupid card,

Hard times breed strong lovers,

Not sex under the covers,

No matter how many passionate moments,

The real stuff starts when you have opponents,

Trauma, and behaviors,

Worked on like waivers,

Its being better one step at a time,

For you, for her, for him in kind,

But sometimes, which is sad,

They don't want to work on the bad,

They leave when its rough,

Because working is tough,

But it will be OK,

This love is my final say.
