Identity Crisis

For as long as I have been into BDSM, I have considered myself a "sissy". The thought of panties, bras, and maids outfits (and to a lesser extent other dresses) have driven me crazy. Lately though, I am not sure "sissy" is the label for me....I have no desire to pass as a woman, that was never my intent. (nor would it be a realistic goal...haha) More than anything it is my love and adoration of women that make me a sissy. Trying (and miserably failing) to emulate them is my kink (well, one of them) I think. The whole point of this is, using the title sissy feels untrue to me now, I think I need to stop using it. Maybe I am just overthinking it all, and how much do labels past the word "submissive" mean anything?

TakenLower - Maybe you should focus on why these things are a turn on. For some, it’s simply the feeling of touching satin or nylon, for others it’s a humiliation kink, and countless other reasons. If you can pinpoint the why a lot of times it helps you better embrace the kink.

Devil's damsel(sub female){HandsomeDe} - I can’t stand labels. Why does everything have to have a name or a category? So anyone who doesn’t understand has a frame of reference? Pigeonholing ourselves into one “brand” or another is the worst thing we can do. Who cares what it’s called....do you love it? does it make you feel good? Do it and give it your own name if it means that much to you ?
