Let it burn
Let the entire world obliterate
With every course, crass and fallacy
You have thrown at me
I will rejoice in the destruction
That is, you.
In the wings of innocent white doves
You are the soot the stains the feather
No matter what is done
The original ethereal white can never return
Salvation!
I dipped my toes in timidly
Test the truth
The eyes deceived once
The mind followed without question
Not this time
Slow
Deliberate
With years of swerves and crossroads
Taking a chance
This last chance at hope
Wanting to drown in cool ,clean oceanic swells
Soft ripples and harmony from sea gulls
One more try to find my gift
Of peace, and trust
One more taste of
water
