Both. I would want them to love me because I provide them with the feeling of being safe, (mentally and physically) cherished, and always there for them.
However, being too kind leads to people running you over. If rules were broken, there would be consequences...and those consequences would strike fear in my people.
In my opinion, if you are a ruler you must be a nice balance of kind and strict. You’re in charge damnit act like it! Lol.

I am a lover, I am a fighter,
I am the friend that will be there during the worst of storms.
