I once had a dream, where, I was the exact age I was supposed to be.

I was clumsy like a bear and reckless like a teen. I cried while watching some stupid movies, screamed with joy when I achieved something.

I ran carelessly, letting the wind mess up my hair, played my favourite songs like a prayer.

I played in the snow, carved my name on random walls, My eyes sparkled everytime, I stood beneath the rainfall.

Soon, the soft cool breeze, lifted my blinds,

the birds, sat by my window, humming softly,

The sun, himself half asleep, kissed my eyes, very gently,

almost, like it didn't wish to break my glass like sleep.

But it did,

The soft world crumbled into a million peices,

Within seconds, everything laid shattered, right at my feet.

Before I could cry or scream, the peices vanished, all I was left with was a heartbeat.

As I opened my eyes, the universe was kind to me,

The soft mattress and the cozy blanket, held me carefully.

But When I looked in the mirror, there was no reflection looking back at me, an empty space where I'm supposed to be.

that's when I mourned the dreamy version of Me.
