1 - I am grateful for eyes to see ~ the stars, the heavens, and the sun that shines down on me.

2 - I am grateful for memories,  even the sad ones - my life in footprints through time.

3 - I am grateful I am.

4 - I am grateful for music, the melody of my soul.

5 - I am grateful, oh great spirit, for the gusting winds, that have caused me to be strong . . . to stand against . . .
and remain!

6 - I am grateful for the tears ive cried ~ I wouldnt have them if I hadnt tried.

7 - I am grateful I have ears to hear ~ my phone ring, true laughter, and "I love you" from the ones I hold dear.

8 - I am grateful for the scars I carry, inside and out ~ they are medals of battles ive won . . . should I ever doubt.

9 - I am grateful for the seeds ive planted along the way ~ and just the right words I had a chance to say.

10 - I am grateful I still stand tall, coming into this season of fall ~ 
And as I write this with a tear in my eye,
The road has been hard, I wont deny ~
But having you in my life, Ive been truly blessed ~ a helping hand when it all seemed a mess.
Your caring heart so warm and true ~ led the way when I didn't know what to do.
You have helped me in more ways than you know ~  a debt of gratitude I surely owe.
