You'll love it when you love me

"Assault" when you dont

The black bird and crow

Are one and the same

Baked in creation

And harbinge disdain

Trying to catch my breath

Gives me an erection

Doesn't seem to matter

What direction

Run along now,  Ms Moon

No more time to play

Great white is coming

To force the day

I had events in these feelings

Where once it once mattered

But those nights are gone

The contusion shattered

I feel you wind

I'm ready

Bring about fair trades

For those unsteady

It was an intrusive raid

Don't you remember?

I didn't heed your calling

My blunder that December

I feel a sense of nonsense

In this land of illusion

It all brings about

A lack of conclusion

Mornin peeps  ??

☕️

How we all doin?

I hurt myself the other day trying to pull a thick steel pipe out of the ground.

I got to thinking . . .

A cut on the skin requires cleaning and bandage - stitches if it's really bad.

A bruise to the muscle requires rest/ice/heat and time

A bruise to the bone requires much the same but usually more time (bruised ribs suck) and maybe some meds to help with pain.

A cut or bruise to an organ, let's say - like the heart, requires . . . *takes a really deep breath . . .

Heat

Ice

Stitches

Compression

Medication

Therapy

Alcohol

Chocolate  (lots)

Tissues

Sad movies

Missed work

Isolation

Ice cream

Obsessive shopping

Cards

Letters

Apologies

Blame

Shame

Time on the phone

Time in bed

Time.

Did I leave anything out?  ?

Tuxedo turned torn tapestry

I don't need, I didn't want

Your sympathy

I can fake my own destiny

He takes me, makes me

Bleed . . . .for him

Mother may I ~ please

Come home?

I'm chilled to the bone

Please . . .

pick up the damn phone!

Headphones and a certain swagger

I feel the rhythm in my body

And I feel yours in my mind

The scents, the sounds, the unlocked secrets

A rhyme that just makes sense

Life is good ~

This time

The cold stone wall attested to time and decay,

She slid rough down, collapsed, and wept.

Heavy, heavy was the day,

For the promise that wasnt kept.

On the turning away

From the pale and downtrodden

And the words they say

Which we won't understand

Don't accept that what's happening

Is just a case of others' suffering

Or you'll find that you're joining in

The turning away

It's a sin that somehow

Light is changing to shadow

And casting its shroud

Over all we have known

Unaware how the ranks have grown

Driven on by a heart of stone

We could find that we're all alone

In the dream of the proud

On the wings of the night

As the daytime is stirring

Where the speechless unite in a silent accord

Using words, you will find, are strange

Mesmerised as they light the flame

Feel the new wind of change

On the wings of the night

No more turning away

From the weak and the weary

No more turning away

From the coldness inside

Just a world that we all must share

It's not enough just to stand and stare

Is it only a dream that there'll be

No more turning away?
