I do find those weird sand cutting videos to be oddly satisfying though. I know. I’m part of the problem. But I never search for them! They just show up! My search history is much more colorful than sand lol

Bunnie - I only learned of it recently, and had the same response as you. It actually made me super irritated almost to the point of anger… so of course I did some nerdy digging :b
Turns out that those with signs of neurodiversity (ADHD for example) may tend to have the opposite desired effect. It was quite interesting to learn about. Not for me though… definitely not something that pushes my feel-good buttons lol.

fluffypoppet​(sub female){Protected} - ASMR can be done well. I sometimes appreciate storytelling aspects of it. But more often than not it is grating.

I think perhaps the aspect of this trend that makes it popular is that it may appeal to the neurodivergent crowd and often that crowd gravitates toward keeping things on repeat boosting stats with repeat business.

If you think that point may be valid it might be worth focusing on that target audience to build a loyal following. Either way, I’m interested in what you learn next.

You bring up a valid point Ms Poppet, neurodivergent. There are indeed theraputic aspects for some (many apparently)
Im searching for whats 'trending' at the moment - should one choose to follow trending. My advice to my friend was to try and predict the next trend (like spinners).
Everything has a shelf life and fads come and go. Except pewdiepie of course 🙄
Although I heard he has retired from the limelight.
