My tummy feels ucky today. Daddy stayed home from work even though his job is really important to his company. It makes me feel so loved and cared for. As I am laying on the couch with my stuffie, paci, blankie, and sippy watching Frozen, Daddy is in the kitchen making me soup. Daddy brings out a bowl for me to eat, but I am so tired that I have a hard time sitting up.
"Come here babygirl. Let Daddy help you sit up." Daddy sets the bowl on the coffee table, and wraps his big strong arms around me. Daddy places me into a sitting position with ease and picks the bowl up again. "Daddy is gonna take care of you today sweets." As he says this Daddy starts feeding me the soup. MMMMMM, my favorite chicken noodle soup. By the time my soup is finished I am sleepy.
"Daddy, I is sweepy." I state as i slide back into a laying position on the couch.
"Okay, my sweet girl. Daddy is going to do some work from home and you get some rest. Call if you need me baby."
"Yes, Daddy." I mumble as I fall asleep. Some time later I feel Daddy kiss my forehead. "Daddy?" I ask in a sleepy daze.
"Yes princess?"
"I wuvs yous Daddy."
"I love you too babygirl." I feel Daddy pick up my head and sit on the couch next to me. He places my head in his lap and stays there until I feel better.
