I definitely tread a fine line where if you tell me I can’t, I will find this inner resolve to say “well I’ll show YOU!!”
But I think anyone who looks at encouragement as anything other than it’s intended are trying to wallow in the negativity because that’s a hell of a lot easier to do than to see the upside (I’ve been there so I get it). It also creates a me against the world persona and builds a wall that says “no one gets me, so I’ll always be alone,” (again been there lol) rather than self reflecting and saying what is it I’m not happy about and how do I work on me to fix it!

Yes!!! I agree. It is fine to take time to grieve, step back, take a break as long as we don't get "stuck" there. ❤️🤗❤️
