She dons
The armor of a snake
The eyes of a cat
Her claws
Like needles
Her skin
A sigh
Soft like silk
Untouched
She winds
Around her prey
With honeyed breath
And lilting tone
The song of lovers
A gentle squeeze
The pulse of life
Of love
The only movement
Like a drum
She tastes
The moment
The stillness
She offers much
And waits
