Razor burn

Ok I need some shaving tips from all you ladies out there. I am a fair skinned lady with sensitive skin. I have tried almost every kind of shaving trick google can search up....and I stay with some level of razor burn all the time. Sometimes is noticeable and sometimes it’s only for me to notice...

I am clean shaven everywhere except my head and lower arms. I use shaving cream 90% of the time. I change my blades regularly. I don’t always shave with the grain...because I want a baby soft feel. Sometimes the razor burn is very mild...almost nothing. Sometimes is pretty extreme....and this can happen to one extent or another even when I do the exact same things everytime.

I’ve changed shaving creams, razors, etc. I’ve used lotion or oils after. I’ve tried exfoliating before and after. In the shower or after soaking in a bath. I don’t get it on the bottom of my legs...on the backside of my thighs and on my precious lady parts. I’m at a loss and could use any and all advice!

Help

Me!!!

Gelsemium(sub female) - If I can offer any advice its this...don’t shave. Go get waxed, lasts about a month and its all done at once. No muss, no fuss, zero razor burn. Your skin will thank you.

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - I prefer hard wax. It's less painful and faster than old style soft wax. Find a good professional. I also have had issues with soft wax taking the top layer of skin hard I've had none.

RopeBunnie(sub female){Not Lookin} - Have you tried nair? Or other lotions that supposedly remove hair without shaving?

Bella Rosella(sub female) - But be careful with nair, it can burn you if left on too long. ❤

littleamelia(other female) - Switch to shaving gel not shaving cream.

LaVieEnRose(sub female){Kintsugi} - waxing, it’ll hurt like a mofo initially but it’s worth it and I’m planning on doing laser when I can afford it!

Hidden Secret(sub female) - Instead of shaving cream, use hair conditioner.

Bianca15(switch female) - I had the same problem. I tried waxing, it gave me horrible (literally dozens) of ingrown hairs no matter how much exfoliating I did. I tried Nair many years ago, it burned my skin no matter how little time it was on. I gave up and got laser hair removal. Tons of places do payments now, and I absolutely LOVE the results. I had dark hair and ultra pale skin, so even immediately after shaving you could still see the shadows of the hair. All of that hair is gone. In the interest of full disclosure, I do still have some hair, but the hair that is left is the fine, blonde hairs. I shave about once a week, but I'm a little obsessive about that. I don't get razor burn anymore, presumably because those hairs are so much finer.
