Cane, caning
Thin flexible rod, traditionally of rattan; striking with such an implement as in the old-style school punishment, typically across the buttocks. Usually leaves marks and/or welts and is more damaging than one might expect.
I have not experienced a cane. I've never even seen one. Honestly I don't think I am anywhere close to ready for that. I feel a little afraid of it just thinking about it. But...I was afraid of the thought of the whip before it was introduced to me... and I kinda like it! BT somehow I don't think they are the same...
Thoughts?
