Force Feeding -
A variant of the techniques formerly used on hunger-striking prisoners or in hospitals where medical conditions prevent normal eating is occasionally used in heavy control SM scenes to gain control of digestion. It is possible to insert a tube from the mouth into the stomach (an orogastric tube), but a tube inserted through the nose is safer -- see nasogastric tube.

What the what??? Anyone??? Please explain this...

lifeofdom(dom male) - In hospital environments, the most common named gastric tubes are used to feed people that are unconscious or unable to have solids.
. In. Regards to other uses, namely in hunger striking prisoners or Sm environments.. Never heard of such.. Not impossible of course..

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - That would be a hard no for me. I was emotionally forced to clean my plate as a child. Tube feeding for D/s or M/s I have never heard of. Haven't heard of forcing eating by mouth either, although I could see that.

zipties(switch female) - Never heard of it... AND if you did outside the hospital setting, your at risk for insertion down the trachea to the lungs. We grab a chest XRAY post placement to verify its in the right place.

LrdEnigma - If you don't like the Covid-19 nasal swabs you really won't like the tube. Plus, Zipties has a very valid point: How do you know the tube is in the stomach, rather than in the lungs?

If the tube is in the lungs, how do you know you won't drown the sub, or cause pneumonia?
