Whatever emotions or thoughts going through my mind will end up here

I'm a black chubby girl from the Caribbean, and I deal with things others will probably never have to deal with in their lifes. I never look at myself as a victim of my circumstances and I will never choose another color or place to live even if I could.

If I find a Dom, a partner, a guide, it needs to be one who's ok talking about race issues, specially if that partner and I have a different skin color, why??? Easy, cause I will deal with shit he won't have to deal with and it's nice to see the person you like/love understands you and can put himself in your shoes.

If I ever find another person sexualizing me for my skin color or the place I was born, but can't or won't deal with the bad side of things, it will not end well.

So even tho sex is great, you still need to show me that human side of you.

PerfectStorm(masochist female) - I am black, not from the Caribbean, been married to a white man and my Sir is white... I do not run into issues.

PrincessEli(sub female) - I'm glad you don't. In my case is not a problem of people saying things because they see a mix couple, is about them not being able to have a conversation about race even if it can be uncomfortable.

PerfectStorm(masochist female) - I am curious... why do you feel the need to have that conversation?

PrincessEli(sub female) - I was talking to a person about how I couldn't get a job in a bank because they don't accept people with curly hair. If I have a partner, I want him to understand my life so when I go to him feeling down or discourage, he won't think I'm overreacting. He agreed and said if the bank didn't accept people with curly hair I had to understand that and I do, but I think that's a dumb thing to do considering almost everyone here looks like me, hair and all.

PrincessEli(sub female) - I know it might seem dumb, but it's important to me.
Thanks for being respectful 😊

PerfectStorm(masochist female) - No it is not dumb because I recall conversations I had with others in the past. I get it, sometimes I just wish we all could look past the skin color and see each other for whom we really are. 😊 Believe it or not I get it.

PrincessEli(sub female) - Me too. In thiscase that person even said his views on many topics could get him fired from his job, so I know I don't want to be around that person.

Justme26 - That is not dumb at all, but I do not know if we can ever completely empathise.

PrincessEli(sub female) - Maybe, I know is hard to do when you don't go through the same thing the other person is going through, but we can always try.

Bunnie - When I lived in Europe, I dated a man who was from a country on the west coast of Africa. Almost every day we went out together, someone would abuse us. It can be disheartening... but we didn’t allow it to affect our time together at all, especially afterwards... why give people like that any more time and energy than they deserve?
