Accessional diary of a dyslexic dom.

Any old nonsence that comes into my head.
3 years ago. May 27, 2020 at 11:40 AM

My mothers funeral tomorrow. I am extrordenerely nerves, and I do not know why. There is nothing at all to be nerves about. I think that is why I am having trouble eating, although I think I had food poisoning last week (you all wanted to know that).

Also I do not have the right cloths. The shirt and jacket is all right, but the trousers are kind of more like jeans than trousers and all I have is trainers or canvas shoes. I never have the right cloths for funerals. At my aunts funeral, I had my jacket dry cleaned the day before and, during the funeral, it literally fell to bits. It was a nice jacket but it was just too old.

SirsBabyDoll(sub female){Pizza+☕} - This is your mother. All you need is your love for her. Bring your heart on your sleeve and the rest doesn't matter.

I am so sorry for your loss. You have my condolences.

Literate Lycan(dom male) - Don’t worry about what you’re wearing on the outside. And from someone who apparently gets “emotional” food poisoning, you’ll get through the nerves. There is no prescribed attire for funerals. The fact that you are there is for you and the family and friends. So wear the shirt, jacket, trousers (even if they are jeans) and shoes. Condolences on your loss.

Miss Tia(sub female) - My condolences to you and your family. I agree with the sentiments of the others who responded before me....your clothes don't matter...you do.

HGB(sub female){Scottish M} - I've wore jeans and tshirt to funerals. I wear what that person saw me in all the time, there favorite color. I'm me, I don't care for funeral traditions. Here for you

SirsBabyDoll(sub female){Pizza+☕} - But we all know that you just want to look your best for your mom.....

YOUR best....that is the key. Not someone else's idea of best...YOUR best. She knows you and knows your heart as well as your struggles. We will all be there with you...in spirit.

Lion(dom male){Hazel Eyes} - My deepest condolences for your loss. In life I'm sure your mother was just happy to see you, not what you were wearing at the moment. Take a deep breath and think about all the wonderful times you had together. Big hug 💖
