A young woman, baby on hip, was talking to her grandmother, while the grandmother was helping her husband repair an old stove. The young woman asked, while her other child was running through the house, why they didn’t just buy a new stove.

“You have the money” she said

Her grandmother looked at her while her grandfather chuckled

“In my day, you didn’t get rid of a good thing just because it didn’t work like it used to. You worked together to fix it. Because the next one is probably not going to be as good as what you’ve got and you won’t find out until it’s too late”

GiannaRay​(sub female) - The grass isn’t always greener on the other side and yet you need to know when you need to move on. Because you can’t change someone (fix their problems for them). People need to work on themselves. It’s common for people, especially women to think they “can fix” someone. This sometimes leads people to stay on unhealthy relationships. So as long as the person is also trying to work on themselves then they should be supported.

DewofHermon​(sub female) - It’s impossible to change a person unless that person is willing to change.

Blondie​(sub female){Collared} - In a good relationship you love all of your partner, even the flaws. You also want to be the best person that you can be for your partner. Easy to say, but not always easy to do. But we should always strive for it. 💖
