A poem based on my love of the wild places of Yellowstone (where I will be working after May and plan to work on me physically over the 7 months I am there. A goal to lose another 60 pounds) Grand Teton etc
The Wilderness Of Life
You see a clear path ahead of you
Yet the sounds frighten you
Is it safe to move forward or better just to stay where you are
You don't want to move but you have too
No victory is achieve by standing still
The rocks are heavy
The thorns cut you
Yet over the mountain and through the forest of life
You can find new beginnings
Some of the past will remain
The past will not define you but shape you through the forest of life
