my mouth is a fire escape

Not sure how to keep our spaces safe when known transphobes/homophobes feel like it's appropriate to post in them. It's frustrating as fuck to see it, especially knowing that they are not interacting to learn more and gain empathy. Rather, I'm fearful that they'll take what they are reading back to their insular circles and spread misinformation. They whine when others speak their mind on open forums and then have the nerve to go to intentional spaces and pipe up.

This site means a lot to me, but the sheer audacity and cluelessness of the members is astounding.  I refuse to leave because 1. I was here first and 2. I won't shut up in the face of their ignorance.
