Wow where to start.

When I first joined, my mailbox was inundated with “do you need a dom...” and when I’d ask for specifics, I’d get a vague answer to the tune of “...I live the lifestyle...”

What the good green blazes does that MEAN.

Does that mean you are a sadist and cord your partner for breakfast?

Or does that mean you go to a masque and get your kink in there?

A COMMON QUESTION I like to ask a dom is:who sets the guidelines, and what is your idea of “thee” lifestyle.

Unfortunately, many can’t articulate what they’re about. At least that’s been my experience-and when I tell a dom what my expectations are, they fuss.

Ilmare(sub female){Not Lookin} - It happens to all the new submissives.

Guys playing dom and calling you sub, slave, or whatever right out the gate. You can spot them because they will have often joined the same day and have next to nothing on their profile. There are other doms that will play with you for a while to get their rocks off and then "ghost" on you. Their profile is gone. There are the phishing-doms to are here to offer to take care of you with a weekly allowance. They are often 86'd by The Cage I am sure.
