How do you respond when the toxicity is you?
I had some "friends" who went behind my back and contacted my ex. They believed the lies he told them about me.
Now they wonder why I can't get over it.
They apologized. Sincerely.
Thing is...... It's not enough. I don't think it will ever be enough.
That's when it occurred to me, I was the toxic component. I couldn't forgive. I couldn't forget.
